    What's New at FFTA?

FFTA Launches new "Foster 2 Forever" Initiative

Forever Families Through Adoption, Inc. (FFTA) is very excited to announce the official launch of our “Foster 2 Forever” initiative. FFTA intends to work with prospective adoptive families showing interest in adopting children in the foster system that are already freed for adoption and in need of permanent homes. FFTA is approved to facilitate the state mandated training of parents to prepare them to adopt older children that may have histories of drug abuse, alcohol abuse, sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, abandonment, and more difficult childhood traumas, to no fault of their own.

On January 8, 2025, we are hosting our first Foster 2 Forever Free Information Session . This free event is open to anyone interested in adopting waiting children in the foster care system that are already freed for adoption. Come and join us to learn about the adoption process, waiting children, training requirements, and meet the Foster 2 Forever staff!

The rainbow flag endorses gay rights without making a statement about the person- it's an all-purpose symbol which can be used by anyone regardless of their own sexual orientation. This aspect has also made the rainbow flag useful for displaying in businesses which are "gay friendly," but which may not necessarily be owned or operated by a gay or bisexual person. This kind of equality and all- inclusiveness is what the gay rights movement strives for.
